Some of you might already know, but I have had a terrible chain of luck this past few months. Lost my job, then I got my bike stolen… and then the universe decided it’s not finished yet.
On the very brink of the end of the year, 30th of December, I was physically assaulted by 6 security guards in a gay bar in Liverpool called ‘’Superstar Boudoir’’.
I was hit, dragged, choked, stepped on, kicked, verbally abused and thrown out, because… I was sitting on a couch and the manager didn’t like me.
Yes. That’s it. I’m not kidding. I wish I was. I was not given an adequate reason why, their claim was that I was sleeping. How could I be sleeping when you can see on the footage that I am awake and talking to the guard?
If you could, please share this video with as many people as possible.
I did not manage to record the entire thing, but dozens of people did! Hopefuly we can gather some evidence, so I can take this up further.
Racism in UK Gay Bars is an epidemic. It is not new, I’m not the first victim and I won’t be the last. But I’m not going to let this go until we raise some fucking noise.
